Why is the battery charge not lasting as long as advertised?

If you have your LCD backlight on permanently it will drain your battery rapidly. Please make sure it is set to 10 seconds at most. To do this: 1. Go to Menu-->Settings-->Phone Settings-->Display-->Backlight2. Set to 10 secs Note that this will set the time that the backlight is on for to 10 seconds.
