LG Showcases World-First Technology at the Sydney Home Show
LG Electronics will unveil the latest in consumer electronics and home appliance solutions at the Sydney Home Show 2006 with new products set to highlight appliance convergence, health-conscious features and versatile design.
Between 18 and 21 May, 2006, LG will showcase its expertise in intelligent and creative technologies by previewing a selection of products never before seen in Australia. Among them will be the
new 50” High Definition Plasma TV with inbuilt HD DVR, the revolutionary Steam Washer / Dryer, the latest range of stylish Art Cool air-conditioners with changeable photo faciers and a new innovative and space saving designs in LG refrigeration.
Commenting on products on display, General Manager of Marketing, LG Electronics Australia, Paul Jenkins said today’s consumers want much more than traditional whitegoods, so you’ll be able to see appliances with diverse functions and easy control.

50” Plasma TV with inbuilt HD DVR (50PB2DVR) - the newest model in the LG digital display range. Features include a built in HD tuner and 250GB HDD, new XD Engine and 2 HDMI inputs. Due to a 1366 x 768 resolution, contrast ratio 10 000:1 and brightness of 1500cd/m², the 50PB2DVR offers remarkable picture quality.

Side-by-Side and French Door Refrigerators with Indoor Ice Maker – LG will preview an entirely new concept in refrigeration style that allows for more usable space in the freezer compartments. By relocating the position of the ice and water dispensers to inside the door in selected Side-by-Side and French Door models, this new concept design in refrigeration leaves room to freeze even large bulky items like a Sunday leg of lamb for as long as required.
