[LG Retailers Experience a Night of Magic]
Sydney, 30 July, 2007: LG Electronics Australia wowed retail partners during its captivating 6th annual LG 2007 Roadshow - 'La Grande Magic'. LG cast its spell over five cities including Gold Coast, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth and Melbourne, before completing the tour with the finale at Sydney Olympic Park Showground.

"La Grande Magic was a circus style spectacular LG showcase and a magical evening for our valued retail partners, staff and associates,? said Daniel Shin, Managing Director LG Electronics Australia. ?2007 is the year the LG brand celebrates ten years in operation in the Australian market. Over the past decade, LG Electronics has grown to an annual sales turnover in excess of $1 billion and I would like to thank all our retailers in helping us achieve this milestone," he said.

"As well as sending a message of thanks to our retailers for their continued support, the Roadshow reaffirmed our commitment to the Australian consumer electronics market as a leader in technology and innovation," said Daniel Shin.

One of the highlights of the evening was the unveiling of LG's new Full HD 1080p LCD Television range. Encased in LG?s signature sleek and stylish design, the LB9 HD LCD Television couples an in-built HD tuner with 10,000:1 contrast ratio and 5ms response time, and is latest addition to LG's expanding range of High Definition products.

The inspiring line-up of world-class, premium products continued with the quality and ingenuity of the AV Home Theatre Receiver Series, optimised to produce the ultimate in sound quality; Satellite Navigation Units - a first for LG; the highly anticipated Kompressor Vacuum which incorporates the innovative 'dust cake' compressing technology; the Sleek Top Mount Door Fridge - tipped to be a 'must-have' for the modern, stylish kitchen; and showcased for the first time were LG's Gas Cooktops - meaning LG now boasts the full cooking home appliance package.

"It was a fantastic opportunity for LG Electronics to provide retailers with an exclusive glimpse into exciting new products and campaigns on the horizon for LG. Most importantly, we wanted to treat them to a magical evening in celebration of the Life's Good philosophy," said Daniel Shin.

Key speakers at the show included: LG Managing Director, Daniel Shin; General Manager of Marketing, Paul Jenkins; Director of Sales, Graeme Cunningham; National Manager of Major Appliance Sales, Murray Richardson; and National Manager of Audio Visual Sales, Tony Thompson and National Channel Executive Dan Duggan shared the microphone for the Major Appliances category. Guests were enchanted by one of Australia?s most recognised magician/comedians Matt Hollywood; stunt violinist, Shenzo; and acrobatic artists, Aerial Angels.
