LG Introduces World’s First Photochangable Air-Conditioners

Sydney 1 August, 2006 – LG Electronics (LG), the global leader in air-conditioning, has introduced the world’s first Photochangeable Air-Conditioner as an extension of its highly successful LG ArtCool Inverter range.

For the first time ever, consumers can insert their family picture, children’s drawing or any type of printed image under the transparent front panel while cool or warm air flows from the back of the frame. The image can be changed at any time by simply opening the panel.

Commenting on the new range, Category Marketing Manager of Air-conditioning, LG Electronics Australia, Janelle Dilger says this creative approach equips customers with the ability to put their own personal taste and style above all else and is sure to create a talking point in any home.

”By inviting customers to design their own air-conditioner panel LG has transformed the concept of a traditional home appliance. Not only does it offer superior cooling technology, the new Picture-Frame Air-conditioner is now an aesthetically interesting element to the home.

ArtCool Inverter is LG’s high-end, design-oriented air-conditioner series that was designed to suit the décor of the most discerning consumer. The current ArtCool Inverter range comes in a variety of versatile colours including mirror, metal, blue, cherry, wood and white wood. Previous models have also included renditions of classic art pieces by famous painters such as Van Gogh, Sisley and Matisse, pioneering the transformation of household white goods into objects d’art.

The stylish new models are equipped with the 3D Air-Flow System, for more even air distribution, and the ‘Neo Plasma Plus Air Purifying System’ that further enhance the sterilization feature of air-conditioners to provide a healthier living environment.
